Illinois Leadership® Center Cancellation Policy
All students registered for an Illinois Leadership® Center I-Program or Leadership Workshop Series will need to read and consent to the following cancellation policy prior to registration. The Leadership Center enforces a cancellation policy as participation represents a monetary investment ranging from $150 - $670 per participant, depending on the program. In addition, the Center wants to ensure that a spot that no longer can be used is made available to the students on our wait lists.
i-Program Cancellation Fee
You must cancel your registration five days prior to the program date if you are no longer able to attend. All students who fail to cancel or attend a program they are registered for will be charged $50 per program day to their student account.
Leadership Workshop Cancellation Fee
You must cancel your registration before the stated start time of the workshop if you are no longer able to attend. All students who fail to cancel or attend a workshop session they are registered for will be charged $20 to their student account.
To Cancel your Registration BEFORE the Deadline:
- Login to the Illinois
Leadership website and cancel your registration by following the "Cancel
registration" link
OR - Call the Leadership Center at 217-333-0604 and share your name, the program
date, and reason for cancellation
OR - Email the Leadership Center at leadership@illinois.edu with your name, the program date, and reason for cancellation
Cancelling AFTER the Deadline with an Excused Absence:
If
a registrant has extenuating circumstances (e.g. personal illness, family emergency)
and needs to cancel after the deadline, please contact the Illinois Leadership®
Center within two weeks after the program date at 333-0604 or leadership@illinois.edu to
cancel your registration with a documented excuse in order to waive the cancellation
fees.
Cancelling AFTER the Deadline with an Unexcused
Absence
If you are not able to provide a documented excuse for your absence at
a Leadership Center program, you will be subject to the following penalties:
- Cancellation Fine Charged
to Student Account
- LeaderShape - $150
- All I-Programs - $50
- All Leadership Series Workshops - $20
